On 22 March 2025, the second test flight of the ELA rocket took place. Three flights were scheduled for this day, but luck was not on our side this time. The first flight used experimental fuel - unfortunately there was an incomplete ignition and the engine failed to fully activate. The next two flights were then affected by problems with the older rocket to pad attachment system. This system will be replaced from the next flights with a new, more modern solution that promises greater reliability. Nevertheless, the day also brought us valuable insights and some important achievements. For example, we were able to successfully transmit a live image from the rocket to a distance of 500 metres. We also saw a significant improvement in the quality of the livestream on the YouTube platform compared to the first test flight. With the new experience and improvements, we are looking forward to the next flight, which is scheduled for May 1.
