Maker Faire Prague 2026

Another edition of Maker Faire Prague is behind us! This year, we once again set out to present SoRC’s projects and show visitors how far we’ve come over the past year in developing our own rockets.

At our booth, you could find the ELA-CS rocket as well as our new CALA, for which we also presented a flight unit this time. Besides the rockets themselves, we also focused on the development of hybrid rocket motors. Visitors could get a look at different parts of our development and learn more about how our designs and propulsion systems come to life.

We were especially pleased by the strong interest during discussions about technical details. We talked about rocket design, electronics and the challenges of developing our own solutions as a student team. Being able to show our work up close and explain everything it involves is one of the main reasons we take part in events like this.

We’re taking home lots of interesting conversations, new ideas and even more motivation to push our projects forward. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, and we look forward to showing you more results of our work!
