Maker Faire Prague 2025
Over the weekend, we attended Maker Faire Prague 2025, one of the largest events of its kind in Europe.
At our booth, we showcased the rockets we’re currently working on. Naturally, the prototype of our new CALA rocket drew the most attention, but the ELA, Dart, and Doge were also on display. We tried to show not only the finished products, but also what actually goes into them. Visitors were thus able to take a close look at individual components, from flight computers to the technology we use to film flights. Many people were surprised by how much we develop ourselves.
Throughout the weekend, we had hundreds of conversations with the general public - with people both familiar with and unfamiliar with technology. We’re glad we managed to spark enough interest in many of them that they didn’t just ask basic questions like “what is this?”, but often posed much more specific inquiries about the electronics, the design, or the development process itself.
Maker Faire was a very valuable experience for us. The interest in our rockets gave us a boost to keep working and helped us take another step forward. Seeing that someone is genuinely interested and finds it meaningful is probably the best motivation to keep going.
